April 15th, 2023 Fundraiser for
Captain Dale Laws
Hero’s Axe House would like to thank all of the citizens of Avery County, all Avery County Fire Departments, and all the Firefighters who came out to celebrate a great man! Thank all of you for coming to support our brother Capt. Dale Laws in his battle with cancer! The support from April 15th, 2023 shows that all of the emergency services are one big family and we look out for each other!!! By having members and trucks from EVERY fire department, dispatch, and law enforcement, shows that we care for each other and that the community we protect cares about the Heroes of our county! We had over 250 people who showed up to give support to Dale!
We humbly want to thank the following departments, businesses, and individuals for all their support of Dale Laws and his family! We came together to support a brother, a community member, and a family fighting the battle of cancer. (NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE)

Cathy and I built Hero’s with the intent of being able to give back to the community which serves us. We will continue to serve the community with events like this to keep making our area the best place to live in anywhere. We want to show younger generations how and why we should look out for our neighbors and ask nothing in return! Thank you to all who came out for a great cause!
